The Assyrian Parliament announces that Mr. Sayros Yadgar has decided to step away from the organization for personal reasons and take time for himself. His departure marks the conclusion of his current involvement in the Parliament, following many years of contribution to the vision, preparation, and establishment of this national institution.
Mr. Sayros Yadgar played a role in the efforts leading to the establishment of the Assyrian Parliament in September 2025 and continued contributing to its work following its founding. His involvement has been part of a broader collective effort to build a representative national institution dedicated to serving the Assyrian people and strengthening their voice internationally.
The Assyrian Parliament respects his decision to step away and recognizes the demands and personal commitment associated with sustained voluntary service. We acknowledge his contributions over the years, both before and after the Parliament’s establishment, and recognize the time and effort he devoted to this undertaking.
On behalf of the Assyrian Parliament, we extend our sincere appreciation to Mr. Sayros Yadgar for his many years of commitment and service to the work that led to the establishment and development of the Parliament.
While he is stepping away from his current responsibilities, we hope that this departure will not be permanent and that he may consider renewed involvement in the future. We also welcome his willingness to remain available to share his experience and advice when needed.
The Assyrian Parliament will continue its work to strengthen its organizational foundations, expand community participation, and advance its mission of serving as a representative voice for the Assyrian nation across the world. We encourage Assyrians everywhere to contribute to this collective effort and help develop the Parliament into a strong, inclusive, and enduring national institution.
We wish Mr. Sayros Yadgar all the best in his personal endeavours and future pursuits.
