How to vote?

All Assyrians aged 18 and over have the right to vote in the Assyrian Parliament election, which will be held online from September 7 to September 20, 2025. To participate in the election, you must first register in the voting system through the official website of the Assyrian Parliament. Registration is simple and takes less than two minutes.

When you visit the website, select the menu item “Elections September 2025” and then choose “Register/Login to Vote”. The first time you visit the page, click the “Register” button to create your voter account. You will be asked to fill out a form with your first and last name, your email address, and a password that you will use later to log in. In addition, you must provide a reference — one or more well-known Assyrians who can confirm your identity. Once you have filled out all the required fields, click the blue “Register” button to submit your registration.

Shortly after, you will receive an email confirming that your registration has been received. Your request will then be reviewed, and within a few hours, you will receive another email confirming your identity. Once your status is marked as active, you are ready to vote during the election period.

When the voting process opens on September 7, return to the Assyrian Parliament website and select “Elections September 2025”, followed by “Register/Login to Vote”. Click the green “Login” button and sign in using the email address and password you created during registration. Once you have entered your information and clicked the blue “Login” button, you will be logged in and ready to vote.

After logging in, you will see a list of candidates, read their biographies, and cast your vote by clicking the “VOTE FOR CANDIDATE” button next to each candidate. You can vote for up to 17 candidates out of a maximum of 33 seats that will make up the Assyrian Parliament. Once the election ends on September 20, the results will be visible when you log in again.

Your participation matters – vote and help shape the future of the Assyrian Parliament.
