It is with great honor that, after several years of hard work, we are now ready to invite you to participate in the Founding Conference of the Assyrian Parliament, which will be held from September 19th – 21st, 2025 in Gothenburg, Sweden. This historic event marks a decisive step towards uniting Assyrians from the homeland and the diaspora under one democratic representative body.

Purpose of the Conference
The conference will:

·         Present and adopt the Bylaws of the Assyrian Parliament.

·         Review of the candidates for the Parliament and presentation of the results of the Assyrian Parliament representative elections

·         Establish the foundation for a transparent and democratic decision-making process for our nation by Establishing the Assyrian Parliament.

·         Elect/choice the Democratic Oversight Council of Assyrian Parliament and adopt its bylaws.   

Participation
We invite:

·         All Assyrian organizations and institutions worldwide.

·         Independent Assyrian activists with a proven commitment to the Assyrian cause.

You may attend in person in Gothenburg or online via a secure conference link.

Important Deadlines

·         Registration Deadline: September 6^th, 2025 – to confirm your participation and receive access credentials (on-site or online).

·         Online Voting:  September 7^th – 20^th, 2025.

·         Full name and organization (if applicable)

·         Contact details (email & phone)

·         Attendance type (in-person or online)

·         If in-person: full legal name for conference badge access

Practical Information

·         Conference languages: Assyrian and English.

·         Participants are responsible for their own travel and accommodation. A list of recommended hotels will be provided upon registration.

·         Full program for the three days will be sent to all confirmed participants after the registration deadline.
