With great pride and honor, we welcome the first of April, the Assyrian New Year 6775, a day that embodies the depth of our ancient civilization and the continuity of our national existence despite all challenges. This occasion serves as a renewed affirmation of our commitment to our national work in reclaiming the rights of our people and strengthening our national unity to preserve our identity and historical heritage.

On this glorious occasion, we express our appreciation and support for all sincere efforts dedicated to advancing the Assyrian nation and restoring its rightful status, whether through upcoming conferences or initiatives aimed at solidifying the Assyrian presence on regional and international stages.

Driven by our historical responsibility, we reaffirm our steadfast determination to hold the Founding Conference of the Parliament of the Land of Assyria in one of the European countries next September. This conference will mark a pivotal moment in our national journey, where Assyrian institutions, along with independent and prominent Assyrian figures in national affairs, will be invited. During this conference, representatives of the Parliament of the Land of Assyria will be elected to serve as the legitimate voice expressing our people’s aspirations in international forums, with a clear focus on securing our national rights and elevating our status on the global stage.

At this critical juncture, we call upon the Assyrian people to remain vigilant and aware, avoiding engagement in futile debates that our adversaries seek to exploit to create chaos and internal divisions. These desperate attempts aim to hinder our unity and derail our cause; however, we remain steadfast and determined in achieving our ultimate goal—the establishment of the Assyrian Homeland Parliament as a free and democratic institution representing the true political will of our Assyrian people.

Furthermore, we urge all Assyrians, both men and women, to assume their historical responsibilities and actively participate in the project of establishing the Parliament of the Land of Assyria. We firmly believe that the success of this phase requires the collective efforts of all. We extend a special call to the younger generation—the hope and future of the nation—as well as to Assyrian women, who bear an essential role no less significant than that of men in building the future of the Assyrian nation and solidifying its revival. Our national revival can only be achieved through unity and strengthened solidarity among all segments of our people, paving the way for a brighter and more just future for our Assyrian nation.

On this historic day, we salute our Assyrian people across the world and renew our pledge to continue our sacred national work to fulfill our people’s legitimate aspirations for freedom and dignity. Wishing our Assyrian people a happy and prosperous new year, may the first of April be a new beginning toward a dignified life, the strengthening of our national will, and the affirmation of our legitimate rights on the sacred land of Assyria.
