As it promised us, and in its timely arrival, April [Nisan], the month of blessings and goodness, greets us once again, heralding the renewal of life and the perseverance of the Assyrian people into the coming year. It is Nisan, the month of renewal and life, the first of Nisan that greets us today with the resurrection of Christ, glory be to Him, proclaiming the end of winter and a fresh beginning for the journey of life to continue on the sacred land of Assyria and in all corners of the world. The sun of Nisan has risen to bring warmth and security, painting the earth with the colors of spring. 

Thus, nature revives life on earth, and we, the people of Assyria, renew our pledge to continue the journey of the loyal and faithful human being to the message of humanity that has guided us since ancient times.

We, the people of Assyria, are those who have bestowed knowledge and science upon the world, those who have believed in the Creator and spread faith. We are the ones who have shaped history and built civilizations for the entire world on this earth. It is the Land of Assyria from which prophets and messengers emerged. It is where humanity recognized the Creator, and where life evolved and flourished in all fields.

Today, our Assyrian people and the sacred Land of Assyria suffer from the filth of evildoers, those who attempt in every possible way to suffocate us and eliminate us so they can achieve their aims of occupying our land and claiming our historical possessions and attributing them to themselves. But we are confident that this critical phase in the history of our Assyrian nation will only be temporary and will end just as the darkness of winter and death has ended, and the return of spring and life to earth. The Assyrian people will once again enjoy the breeze of freedom as they did in the days of Ashurbanipal, Sennacherib, and other greats and giants who made history on the sacred Land of Assyria. And this land will curse all those who betrayed it and led it to its current state.

O people of Assyria, in these holy days of renewal, life, and resurrection from the dead, you have the opportunity once again to work diligently to unify the Assyrian ranks and collaborate to ensure our strength and leadership in these turbulent waves towards safety, so that our nation may prosper on the land of our ancestors, the sacred Land of Assyria.

In these eternal Nisan celebrations and the resurrection of Christ, glory be to Him, on behalf of the Supreme Body for Establishing the Parliament of the Land of Assyria, we congratulate our Assyrian people and all the peoples of the world on the Assyrian New Year 6774 and the glorious resurrection. We ask the Lord that the coming year be filled with successes for our people on all fronts, and that the efforts for unity and the arrangement of the Assyrian house bear fruit, including the establishment of a unified joint leadership to be the legitimate representative of our proud Assyrian people in international forums and the primary deterrent to the policies of marginalization, annulment, killing, and displacement that affect our people in the Land of Assyria, such as the crime of Baghdeda and the harassment of the Assyrian people of Nahla, and others, all the way to demanding our legitimate rights that have been deprived of on our historical land, the sacred Land of Assyria.
