In a historic and unprecedented step toward achieving the national aspirations of our Assyrian people, we announce that the Parliament of the Land of Assyria will be established this year. This monumental achievement marks the dawn of a new era in our collective journey toward self-determination, national sovereignty, and representation. The establishment of this parliament will not be merely a symbolic event, but a decisive step toward solidifying democracy within our nation, strengthening our national structure, and empowering Assyrians to play a central role in determining their own future.<\/p>

In this context, we, The Supreme Body for Establishing the Parliament of the Land of Assyria, are in the final stages of preparations to hold the General Assyrian Conference in one of the European countries after years of work and sacrifice to achieve this project. This pivotal summit will bring together Assyrians from all factions, including policymakers, intellectuals, scholars, and activists from around the world, to engage in critical discussions on how to enhance the Assyrian national identity, unify efforts to protect our historical rights, and strategize the establishment of our future parliamentary institutions. We will invite the largest number possible of Assyrian organizations, political entities, and influential figures to ensure that this conference provides democratic legitimacy and serves as a comprehensive platform for shaping our collective destiny.<\/p>

The General Assyrian Conference will be a decisive step toward turning the vision of the Parliament of the Land of Assyria into reality. Once established, this parliament will be the official body representing the Assyrian people worldwide. It will serve as the highest legislative authority, defending Assyrian national interests, initiating diplomatic efforts, and formulating policies that will guide the future of our people in the Land of Assyria and the diaspora. This parliament will act as the cornerstone of political unity and national mobilization for our Assyrian people, ensuring that our voice is heard in international affairs and securing the future of our nation.<\/p>

We call on all Assyrians, political leaders, advocacy groups, and all Assyrians to remain engaged and actively participate in this transformative process.
